I wanted to reply to this but my reply was too long:
In regards to Michelle Bachmann getting elected, I only have a few things I’m praying will be her downfall: the current splintering in the Republican party between radical populist pitchforkers (like her) and the staunchly-Reagan middle-of-the-line econo-centric “classic” Republicans (like Romney), the distaste “undecided/unaffiliated” voters will have for her INSANE positions on social issues (no abortions even in the case of rape or incest), and the (admittedly sad) fact that the majority of the American populace still is largely misogynistic and isn’t very warm to the idea of a female president.
My only fear is that she is cleverer than Sarah Palin and might be able to overcome all this and spin it in such a way that she wins the presidency and then the world as we know it will end.
